Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the Amazon Connect Call Center platform for McAfee Customer Service. The responsibilities include managing the Connect DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD. This role is hands-on implementation and will need expertise in scripting and/or programming.

This is a remote role based out of the Dallas, Texas area. We are only considering candidates from Texas and are not offer relocation at this time.

About The Role

• Maintain and grow the Amazon Connect Call Center and IVR capabilities, including Lex Bot .
• Write and maintain Terraform scripts for Infrastructure as Code projects.
• Write and maintain “GitHub actions” pipelines for DevOps & CI/CD implementations.
• Expertise in native AWS services IaaS, PaaS, SaaS with deep understanding of building & configuring Amazon Connect service using Terraform.
• Collaborate with the WFM team to provide support for forecasting and IVR improvements
• Implementation and automation of AWS cloud operational responsibilities using automation and scripting.
• Monitor and react to incidents including partnering with application owners, product engineers and cloud service provider where necessary.
• Partner with the Customer Success team members to ensure continuity from build to run operations.
  
  

About You

• You have a curious mindset and an investigative nature.
• You have 4 of experience in IT and Computer Science with a development background.
• You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field of study.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud environments, including Amazon Connect.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Github/Github actions and configuration management tools such as Ansible is preferred.
• Strong understanding of programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
