What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer/Sales position at McAleer's Office Furniture?
We are seeking an Interior Designer & Sales Person to become a part of our team! You will plan, design and furnish the interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
- Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction
- Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space
- Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
- Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation
- Assist customers with in-store purchases
- Create vignettes in showroom to display furniture
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in interior design or other related fields
- Familiarity with Photoshop, AutoCad, or other design software like Giza, Sketchup
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sales experience a big Plus - must enjoy working with people
- Degree preferred, but NOT required
- Available Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00
Great work environment, excellent base commission structure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
