What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytics Data Specialist position at McAlister Design?
Will be responsible for extracting, organizing, and preparing production data for ERP integration, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. This will be a part-time position, offering 30 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities:
· Collect, organize, and validate production data from existing databases and spreadsheets
· Clean and format data for compatibility with the new ERP system
· Collaborate with internal teams to identify relevant data sources and ensure data completeness
· Conduct data audits to detect inconsistencies and anomalies
· Assist in developing data documentation and standard operating procedures
· Support cross-functional teams in testing and verifying data post-ERP implementation
· Generate ad-hoc reports and summaries using Excel and other data tools as needed
· Maintain data confidentiality and integrity in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with data structures and basic database concepts (experience with SQL or Access is a plus)
- Experience working with or exposure to ERP systems (preferred, but not required)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
