Quality Technician

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections; receiving, 1 st piece, in-process, final inspections, and reporting.
• Help develop sampling plans.
• Production line quality support activities.
• Assist in PPAPS, Control Plans, FEMA, Gage R&R as applicable.
• Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
• Liaise and communicate with other departments.
• Report quality anomalies to the supervisor and initiate non-conformance reports.
• Process returned material from customers as per company’s procedures.
• Internal gage calibration and auditing/sorting of parts as assigned.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other data entry as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Experience using inspection tools such as: height stands, calipers, micrometers, thread gages, pin gages, etc.
• High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to read a basic blueprint.
• Knowledge of advanced measuring equipment (Microview, CMM) and GD&T (preferred).
