Service Techncian

Wauseon Machine is looking for an Industrial Service Technician.

• PLC troubleshooting or programming experience (We use Allen Bradley).
• Willingness to travel 50-90% (Domestic US).
• Will receive a company vehicle.
Robotics troubleshooting experience (We use Fanuc).

About Us:

Wauseon Machine specializes in Precision Machining, Custom Robotic Automation, and Tube Forming Technologies. Our Automation Division is responsible for the design, build, and prove out of industrial equipment, including robotic automation cells and industrial machine tools. Our custom equipment and robotic applications include, but are not limited to, Assembly, Dispensing, Machine Tending, Material Handling, and Palletizing.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for industrial equipment internally and at customer locations.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the Service Coordinator.
• Completely document service work using the WM established format.
• Provide information and assistance to aid in estimating new work.
• Provide training to internal and external customers.
• Provide phone support when not on active assignment.
• Perform a wide range of shop related tasks when not on active assignment.
• Complete assigned project work on time per the project schedule, within the project budget, and meet customer and WM requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of maintenance or hands on industrial troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to travel locally and overnight 50-90%.
• Availability for holiday, weekend, and off hours work.
• PLC, HMI, and robot programming experience (preferred).
• Related technical or vocational training (preferred).
• FANUC SECE certification (preferred).
