Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area to ensure food safety.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Experience with cash handling and retail math is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
