General Job Summary :
Provides assistance to the Quality department by creating and revising documentation, compiling and reporting data, and completing part inspections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Extract data from various systems to produce reports and metrics
- Create and revise inspection documentation
- Assist in generating balloon prints, FAIR templates and NCMR's
- Scan documents for storage electronically on the network
- Help Quality Engineers prepare documentation
- Document processes and procedures for Quality department tasks
- Support the QC lab with part inspections
- Coordinate the calibration schedule
- Assist with edits to work instructions
- Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager.

Requirements : Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
1-2 years related experience or training
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Internet Explorer.
Other Requirements :
Understanding and utilization of micrometers, verniers and scales (rulers). Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Language Skills :
High Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills :
High Skills : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability :
Very High Skills : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
