Role Description
This position will be responsible for the project accounting of our Special Projects Division of the company. They will report directly to the Controller with a dotted line to the Project Director of our Special Projects division. This position will be supporting multiple project teams across the division, interacting with them and other members of the company daily. The right person for this position will have experience working in accounting underneath a General Contractor, have very strong organizational skills, and an intense attention to detail. Below are a list of responsibilities/expectations for this position.
Critical Skills Required

o Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite programs, specifically Microsoft Excel.
o Working knowledge of the construction industry, project accounting, project management, with an aptitude for numbers.

o Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude, even under stressful situations.
o Ability to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality.
o Demonstrates ownership over their responsibilities and sees tasks through the finish line.
Experience/Training:
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
o 2 years of experience in accounting for a commercial construction company.
o Experience with Trimble Viewpoint is a plus but not required.
o Experience working with State contracts is a plus but not required.
