Summary of Position
The role of the Residential House Manager is to ensure the quality of programing in the residential group homes. The House Manager is responsible for aiding in the supervision and training of the residential program workers. They will work closely with direct care staff helping them complete daily routines and tasks for the individuals in their homes. House Managers will report to Case Managers for daily assigned duties which can include any of the following tasks.
- Medication checks and counts
- Medication Administration Trainer
- Training current and new staff on individuals programming
- Coordinating logistics for outings
- Attend ISP meetings
- Coordinate and collect required compliance documentation
- Attend individuals medical appointments
- Behavioral Intervention
- Supervise any and all functions and tasks completed in the group homes
- In home coverage for staff call offs
- Weekly verification of monetary funds and personal items of individuals
- Providing advisement and discretion on the application on disciplinary actions
- Evaluation of direct reports
- Other duties as assigned
Due to the ongoing changes of the needs of our individuals along with state regulatory changes and updates, this position is subject to ongoing adjustments in supervising responsibilities. Any changes or updates made to the group home regulatory compliance or individuals programming will be under the scope of work supervised by the House Manager.
