Job Summary
The Residential Program Specialist is responsible for overseeing the operation of group home facilities, providing casework services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, and coordinating with MCBHC personnel to ensure appropriate services are provided.
This role requires a strong understanding of social work concepts, theories, and practices, as well as knowledge of individual or group counseling concepts, theories, and practices. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
The Residential Program Specialist will work closely with the Administrator of Residential Services to ensure that programs are in accordance with the 6100 & 6400 Regulations and that the welfare, care, safety, and security of all consumers on their assigned caseload are met.
