MCCA is excited to announce that we are offering a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position for the 3rd (Night or Overnight) shift in our Withdrawal Management program, with very competitive rates and benefits.
The Withdrawal Management RN is responsible for medical and health-related management of the withdrawal management clients, including completion and review of all medical history and coordination of medical appointments. The RN will monitor responses to medication, vital signs and blood work. The RN will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and will attend all clinical and treatment meetings for each resident. This position will require schedule flexibility to support MCCA's commitment to providing care/coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Major Responsibilities
- Safe administration of medications including monitoring for interactions.
- Attend to day-to-day health concerns and conditions and assist in crisis situations.
- Maintain resident medical health records according to DPH, DMHAS, CARF and MCCA policies.
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary review. Consult with our own and other professionals to assure comprehensive quality care for the client.
- Coordinate/carry out special programs or projects as assigned by the Program Director and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and related reports.
- Comply with all federal, state and funding regulatory requirements.
- Maintain client confidentiality pursuant to Federal, State and HIPAA regulations.
- Have a good command of the Agency’s Policies and Procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Training & Credentials
- CT RN Licensure
- Satisfactory background checks
