What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prepared Foods Associate Full-Time position at McCaffrey s Supermarkets?
Job Summary
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers
- Weigh, wrap, code and price products accurately
- Display product in cases as directed in the highest standards of presentation
- Set up and breakdown cases, stock freezer, check and remove out of date items, and rotate products according to company standards.
- Make sandwiches/hoagies for cold case
- Measure and mix ingredients following recipes or using prepared mixes as directed
- Cut delicatessen meats and cheeses to customer's preference
- Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department
- Cook, season and/or bake foods as directed.
- Maintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areas, which also includes dishwashing
- Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years old
Physical Demands:
- Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time.
- Lift chickens in and out of ovens and rotisserie
- Ability to wear company provided uniform and maintain a clean and groomed appearance
- Lift cases/containers of product up to 40 pound
