Position Summary:
Sizes raw product to meet customer finished requirements. Monitors raw unloading to ensure safety and quality. Controls line speed via grisnich computer system as directed by supervision. Conducts raw product delivery truck inspections to ensure trucks meet minimum safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Conducts raw sampling to ensure proper piece count.
2.
- Conducts truck inspections as required.
3.
Controls unloading of trucks and potato storage bins via grisnich computer system.
4.
Ensures all paperwork is legible and properly filled out.
5.
Monitors in-line magnet to ensure product safety.
6.
Monitors flow of potatoes from deliver trucks.
7.
Performs daily and downtime sanitation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training
- Have or be able to obtain McCain Forklift Certification
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Infinity Database software.
- Language, computer and mathematical skills
Physical Demand:
Constant: Stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and touch or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
Occasionally: Sit, climb or balance; and taste or smell.
