About The Role.
As an Environmental Engineer Intern at our Grand Island plant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our industrial environmental program monitoring and compliance. In this role you will work to improve the process in which the plant manages compliance with the international standard for environmental impact.
This role will involve reviewing and digitizing documentation and performing a gap analysis to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Additionally, you will help perform audits, conduct wastewater testing, and support in the development and scoping of capital projects for fiscal year 26. This includes writing proposals and making submissions to engineering and finance for capital funding.
Location: This position is based at our Grand Island plant in Grand Island, NE, and requires on-site presence Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This internship offers multiple opportunities for full-time employment post-graduation, such as Reliability Engineer and or the Production Management Trainee program, a leadership development program designed to create future leaders at McCain.

Compensation Package: $23.00 - $26.00 USD hourly

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering.
