Position Summary

Coordinate and organize the Americold storage area.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
• Distributes and organizes excess bulk cribs in cage.
• Documents crib locations by bulk code.
• Removes cribs from cage bulk that are to be added back.
• Identifies and inventories cribs that need to be replaced as they come out of cage and access crib conditions for replacement.
• Distributes and organizes recalled pallets by item code or cuts.
• Supports strip-out by staging pallets to be reworked as directed.
• Removes library and micro samples as directed by Product Coordinator.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.
• Understands the concepts and participates in the quality process.
• Perform clean up duties as required by production schedule, including factory clean-ups.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand and communicate safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization. Must be able to enter data into a computer.
  
  

Physical Demand

• Constant: Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist. Walking up and down a flight of stairs. Occasionally requires substantial physical effort and working in awkward positions. Constant exposure to a cold environment and loud noise.
• Requires forklift certification.
