Summary

Ensures timely project completion and a high level of continuous improvement achievement. Must interact with internal and external customers, and

R & D representatives as required to meet customers’ needs, interpret the results and convey the findings to management. Accountable for the overall quality and recovery components of manufacturing which is accomplished by auditing equipment performances in the proper methods of processing. A Process Engineer is accountable to perform or facilitate testing on new or existing equipment and processes, analyze the resulting data and clearly communicate the results to all levels of manufacturing and management. This position will have leadership accountability for the facility’s SCA (Strategic Cost Advantage) program, data management and management systems, in addition to acceptance of new R & D products within the facility.

• The ability to quickly grasp technical and abstract concepts.
• Computer literacy is a must due to the nature of equipment operation and reporting.
• Knowledge of statistical concepts is required.
• Leadership qualities will be required because the candidate will be directing the plant management group on “best practices” in the operation of plant equipment.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of processing equipment, processing methods, manufacturing philosophies, and basic manufacturing SOPs.
• Possess qualities that demonstrate engagement on a personal and professional level.
• Possess a proven record on safety, performance and commitment.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of a manufacturing facility.
