About the role .

The Supply Chain Intern will join McCain Foods' North American Supply Chain organization and contribute to its goals and objectives. This role will support one primary function : Planning , Logistics, Customer Solutions, E2E Network Operations, or Supply Chain Excellence. The Supply Chain Intern is expected to gain a broad understanding of supply chain processes and tools, potentially including inventory management, capacity planning, demand / supply planning, warehouse management, transportation planning, customer relationship management, and analytics.

The Supply Chain Internship program is a four-month experience starting in May and running through August.   This position will be based out of our Oakbrook, IL office and will be a hybrid position, spending three (3) days a week in the office.

Accountabilities :

The Supply Chain Intern will complete work designed to develop and broaden supply chain skills.  Candidates will focus on one core functional area, which could be split between daily / weekly / monthly processes and improvement projects.  Beyond those responsibilities, interns will work on key development activities to grow business acumen, leadership capabilities, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Participants will establish an excellent foundation for their careers by learning the following :

A breakdown of core supply chain functions, along with key roles and responsibilities

• Essential business skills, including time management, cross-functional communication
• An ability to manage and organize large datasets

Hybrid

Compensation Package : $23.00 - $26.00  USD hourly

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education / training, and other organizational needs.
