What are the responsibilities and job description for the CYCLE COUNTER position at McCall Farms?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Cycle count finish good materials on a daily basis.
Assist and in receiving and put away of finished goods
Complete transfers to and from production area.
Build break down pallets if necessary to maximize pallet space.
Work in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold from 0 to 100 degrees,
and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions.
Utilize O2 Mobile and MOB3 software to review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
Ensure correct labeling of all products/materials.
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision.
Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
Adhere to all company policies, GMP and Food Quality standards, safety procedures, and guidelines.
Works closely with other departments to ensure efficient plant operations.
Other duties may be assigned.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, hear and pay attention.
The employee is required to walk, use hands and arms to handle, feel and reach, push, pull, bend and
twist.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, move up and down stairs;
move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies regularly up to 35 pounds, and occasionally up to
50 pounds.
Visually inspects equipment and locates merchandise and other objects.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Read information, often in small print.
Enter and locate information on a computer system or communication device.
Document transactions via an I-pad/ scan gun, reports, etc. using a writing instrument (e.g., pencil, pen)
or computer.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School, some college preferred; 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
Ability to communicate with others orally.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form.
