McCall Middle School is seeking a talented and dedicated Special Education Teacher. The position spans from the start of the 24-25 school year through November 1, 2024 or thereabouts. Candidates should possess:
- Experience providing support services for students on IEPs within the general education setting as well as in pull-out settings.
- Strong working knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs.
- Experience conducting and analyzing assessments, facilitating TEAM meetings.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
- Experience with co-teaching is preferred.
- Training and/or certification in specialized reading programs such as Wilson or Orton-Gillingham is preferred.
- Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Cerification
- Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience
