McCall Middle School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve as the case manager and teacher for students with severe disabiltiies.
- Provide and guide instruction in general education and sub-separate setting.
- Implement the educational program and related services as outlined in the assigned students’ IEP.
- Maintain supervision and safety of students at all times.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies for a positive learning environment.
- Use appropriate behavior management techniques.
- Create, complete and update IEPs; maintain required records and data.
- Collaborate with and support ESP (i.e., teaching assistants).
- Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Cerification in Severe Disabilities.
- Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience.
