We are hiring for a Part-Time Shop Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting our maintenance team around our Chehalis shop with various tasks which may include pressure washing rock drills, excavators, trucks, semi-trucks, and skid steers. He/she will also be expected to take out the trash cans, sweep the floors, and help break down boxes. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
McCallum Rock Drilling (MRD) is a rock drilling and blasting contractor based out of Chehalis, WA, that has been in business since 1988. MRD operates in commercial quarries, timberlands and construction sites throughout the Western US.
Minimum skills and qualifications include:
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- Clean driving record (no more than three moving violations within the last three years)
- Reliable transportation to our base shop in Chehalis, WA
- Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to show up on time and be flexible with the schedule
- Must be a team player
- Willing to work weekends as needed
