Responsibilities
- Perform precise wheel alignments on heavy duty semi-trucks using state-of-the-art equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues or damage
- Operate heavy duty wheel alignment machines and software
- Analyze data and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate alignments
- Collaborate with technicians to identify and repair any related issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in wheel alignment technology
- 2 years of experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician in a heavy duty truck repair environment
- Strong knowledge of heavy duty truck systems and components
- Experience with wheel alignment machines and software (e.g., Hunter, Bee Line)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
- Comfortability guiding/driving semi-truck up a 4 ft inclined rack.
- ASE certification in Brake or Suspension and Steering
- Experience with heavy duty truck repair software (e.g., Mitchell1, Snap-on)
- Familiarity with OEM specifications and guidelines
