The Immigration Practice Group at the law firm of McCandlish Holton is seeking to hire an immigration paralegal. Our Immigration Practice Group provides visa services and immigration advice to businesses, colleges and universities, school systems, researchers, professional athletes, entertainers and individuals across the country and around the world. We advise U.S. and foreign clients on all aspects of obtaining U.S. work visas as well as the hiring and transfer of international personnel.
Our Paralegals and Attorneys work in a fast-paced team environment. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, energetic, accurate and able to handle a high volume of work.
College degree is preferred with at least one year of work experience.
This position is not remote and is located at our Richmond, VA office.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases.
- Manage multiple cases from file opening to approval of the application or petition.
