Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment on construction sites, maintaining machinery, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, backhoes, graders, and loaders to complete construction tasks.
- Perform horizontal drilling and bulldozing operations as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Build and maintain structures as directed by project specifications.
- Document equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is required, with specific skills in dump truck, backhoe, grader, horizontal drilling, bulldozing, and loader operation being highly desirable.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
