Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipelines and working with heavy equipment, ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties
- Install and maintain pipelines for water, sewage, and other utilities.
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, front loader trucks, and forklifts to transport materials and assist with installation.
- Utilize pipe lasers to ensure proper alignment and grade of pipelines.
- Conduct concrete forming as needed for pipeline installation.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine inspections of installed pipelines to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation including bulldozers, backhoes, front loader trucks, and forklifts.
- Experience with concrete forming techniques related to pipeline installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
