Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Account Manager to join our supply sales team at McCann. As a Junior Account Manager, Supply Sales you will be responsible for the development of new business and the service of existing accounts; new and existing product promotion, working with vendors and manufacturers, assisting customers with problems and dealing with issues that arise in credit and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in managing relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry. Build long-lasting relationships by offering excellent customer service and understanding client needs.
  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Support the sales team in generating new sales, upselling products, and maximizing revenue from existing accounts. Meet or exceed sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Offer solutions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, understand industry trends, and evaluate competitor products and pricing. Help identify new business opportunities for the company.
  • Product Knowledge & Consultation: Develop a strong understanding of the products offered, including construction materials, tools, and equipment. Advise customers on the most suitable products for their projects, providing guidance on specifications, applications, and pricing.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; analytical and interpretive skills; refined oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interpret mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; ability to problem solve and address a variety of concrete variables.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfort using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Knowledge of construction management software is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent walking; occasionally required to sit; regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently exposed to outside weather conditions; occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; noise level loud.
