We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the Senior Project Manager in the Estimating, bidding, planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. You will collaborate with various owners, architects, and engineers, vendors, and subcontractors while managing project schedules. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project estimates, submittals, material and equipment procurement, and project closeout documents.
- Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Attend Pre-Bid, Bid Opening and on-site project progress meetings.
- Assist with Equipment Start ups and Training
- Assist and Direct Field personnel with installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to facilitate project execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding status and potential issues.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Support the Senior Project Manager in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in O365 and .pdf software.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with Sage is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Previous experience in Commercial / Industrial HVAC project management is preferred.
