Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the team in the implementation of Controls for the project and growing their own knowledge of the process. Must understand the project approach and manage assigned responsibilities to ensure successful outcomes. Must take an active role in their own personal development and seek opportunities in the office and the field.
- Responsible for all aspects of Controls installation to include commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
- Own document controls by ensuring all project documents are accurate and up to date at all times.
- Contribute to SSQP process by identifying quality and testing requirements and documenting successful completion.
- Manage project closeout by ensuring all punch list items specific to Controls are complete. Track and implement closeout requirements.
- Seek out training and jobsite learning opportunities. Enhance project team through relationship development and personal contributions.
- Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issues and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions; lead safety orientations, participate in the THA process, and enforce the program when onsite and through managing documentation.
- Drive technology by identifying and promoting new technological tools and uses within our industry to improve the efficiency of project team and overall project outcomes.
- Understand core values and demonstrate them in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- 1 year of Building Automation experience preferred
- Previous experience in building automation, TAB or HVAC or a minimum of a 2 year degree in electronics, electrical, electromechanical, HVAC, computer programming, information systems or similar technical studies.
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and a desire to excel
- Self-motivated and can work well with others
- Proficient communicator.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Must have a customer focused mindset
- Must have a proven commitment to Safety
- Implementation of detailed workplans and THA (Task Hazard Analysis).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans is a plus
- Must be able to use a computer proficiently
- Must have experience with the windows operating system including the Office software suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle
- Minimum age 18

This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Given the dynamic nature of the large-scale commercial construction industry, a candidate’s project portfolio and background can change the role and compensation for which that candidate might be qualified. The title and pay range for this role could change based on candidate qualifications and experience. Pay Range: $27-$35/hr
