Pipe Apprentice I
- Entry level position no previous experience required.
- Material/Tool handling.
- Daily clean-up.
- Work as part of a team and use materials safely.
- Follow directions and ask questions.
- Show up on time and eager to perform.
- Participate in THA process and identify safety hazards as they arise.
Pipe Apprentice II
- Encompasses all Pipe Apprentice I Roles and Responsibilities as well as the following:
- Assist in installation or assembly of trade specific material and equipment in the shop or jobsite.
- Understands and can use power tools safely.
- Understand hanger systems and how to install properly.
- Expand and demonstrate knowledge of multiple Piping system applications: Heating water, Chilled Water, Condenser Water, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Lab & Medical gasses, Refrigeration, Fuel & Oil and High & Low-pressure Steam.
- Expand and demonstrate knowledge of multiple Piping material applications: Steel/carbon pipe, Copper Pipe, PVC/PCV pipe, Poly Pipe, Stainless Steel pipe and Aluminum pipe.
- Lead THA process with assistance from General Foreman.
Pipe Apprentice III
- Encompasses all Pipe Apprentice II Roles and Responsibilities as well as the following:
- Expand and demonstrate knowledge of building codes, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
- Operate all required support equipment safely to achieve installation of systems: scissor lifts, forklift, ladders, torches.
- Develop general understanding of integrated project life cycle and key trade partners.
- Installation or assembly of trade specific material and equipment in the shop or jobsite.
- Develop keen eye for quality installation of systems and immediately report any substandard craftsmanship to lead.
- Assist with testing, inspecting, and recording for all rough-in installations as required by building codes and project specifications.
- Educate on lessons learned when and where appropriate.
- Understanding of work plan process and how to implement.
- Perform daily safety assessment of Tools, Cords, Equipment.
Salary : $34,700 - $44,000
