The position is responsible for greeting guests and directing visitor traffic in a friendly and positive manner. In addition, the Receptionist is responsible for various administrative tasks and office support. This is a 100% office-based position, located at our Chandler, Arizona office. Remote work options are not available for this role.

Position Summary
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist position in Chandler, AZ. The position is responsible for greeting guests and directing visitor traffic in a friendly and positive manner. In addition, the Receptionist is responsible for various administrative tasks and office support. This is a 100% office-based position, located at our Chandler, Arizona office. Remote work options are not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, greet, and provide directions for visitors, guests, and partners
- Maintain the appearance of the front desk and lobby
- Maintain awareness of groups and events utilizing the facility
- Coordinate with building administrative team to look ahead and anticipate building visitors/needs
- Answer/direct incoming calls
- Manage Teams Calling phone system for facility
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages (physically and digitally)
- Create and maintain filing and mail distribution system
- Maintain packing/mailing supplies and assist office staff in sending outgoing mail through various vendors (USPS, UPS, etc.)
- Process the ICWC administration purchasing card logs and expense allocations
- Process executive expense reports as directed
- Participate as part of the building administrative team to execute engagement events and culture building activities
- Manage monthly birthday celebrations
- Provide onboarding support for new partners (greet and connect with manager, process i9’s, provide building related information, etc.)
- Assist with beverage and snack stocking as directed
- Must have 4 years clerical/administrative experience.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) typing 50 WPM.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines with eye for accuracy and attention to details.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work with all levels of project staff and organization.
- Ability to speak Spanish is highly desired but not required.
