Position Summary
This position is a dedicated Learning & Development (L&D) Manager for the National Renewable Energy business currently operating at over $1B in revenue and growing. Partnering with the Renewable Energy Human Resources (HR) team and business, this role is responsible to develop and execute learning strategies, deliver training programs, assess and create solutions for development needs, and track learning effectiveness. This Learning & Development (L&D) professional likes to be both strategic and “hands on.” They have demonstrated experience translating and understanding training and development business priorities, effortlessly coordinating and facilitating, and leading through both a corporate and business unit level L&D strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Dedicated L&D professional responsible for creating, executing and measuring learning solutions for a diverse workforce consisting of non-exempt and exempt employees at a wide variety of levels, and operating across the United States.
- Partner and main point of contact for corporate learning resources to ensure alignment and connectivity to national and regional L&D strategies.
- Effectively works across geographies supporting a national business within a regional framework, requiring a heightened level of collaboration, organization, detail-orientation, and clear communication.
- Serves as a thought partner to the Renewable Energy HR team and business to understand, translate and deliver business unit specific learning solutions, leveraging national L&D resources as appropriate.
- Conduct informal and formal needs assessments and discussions to help define performance, skill, and knowledge gaps. Actively participate in core talent discussions with the business to coordinate and lead the effort on national learning program recommendations.
- Identify appropriate and varied training approaches to cater to the unique needs of the business unit and recommend/ create solutions to meet training and development priorities at the business unit level to improve people capability and performance.
- Develop a network, and partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to develop and deliver technical and non-technical training effectively and efficiently.
- Lead end to end training delivery demonstrating expert facilitation skills, and effectively plan, organize and measure relevant training.
- Manage learning and leadership programs, including planning, organization, budget management, feedback, tracking and success measures.
- Utilize Learning Management System as appropriate to set up, track, report and evaluate training programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Learning Management, or related field a plus.
- 3-5 years of professional level L&D experience in translating, designing, developing, and facilitating training in a business setting.
- Strong project management experience demonstrating exceptional ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a fast-moving work environment.
- Independently motivated with a proven drive for results.
- Consultative approach with an ability to assess current state and translate into solutions.
- Highly engaging and collaborative style and can work cross-functionally and cross-regionally.
- Easily able to engage learners, encourage participation, and champion a continuous learning and development mindset.
- Flexibility to travel - up to 50%.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
