What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver/ Concrete Finisher position at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.?
Primary Responsibilities :
Truck Driving
- Operate company truck and trailer to transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites across the valley, in compliance with local, state and company policies.
- Understand and comply with DOT regulations regarding hours of service, vehicle inspections, load securement and overall safety. Including logging pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Utilize technology for reporting required DOT inspections.
- Safely load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper distribution and securing of loads. (Forklift experience required)
- Plan and manage truck operations across multiple jobsites in partnership with superintendent.
- Ensure truck(s), equipment and tools are safely and securely stored when not in use.
- Manage truck inventory and communicate needs to superintendent.
- Maneuver truck into loading or unloading positions throughout jobsite safely and operate effectively on rough terrain / unpaved surfaces.
Concrete Finishing
