McCarthy is looking for a hands-on, collaborative, and strategic graphic designer to assist our Southern Region with the conceptualization and execution of compelling marketing deliverables. This position will work closely with the regional marketing, business development, and operational teams to deliver innovative design solutions across various media platforms that elevate our brand and communicate key messages. Please ensure you include a portfolio of your work along with your resume to showcase your qualifications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead creative strategy in regional pursuits, events, communications, and multi-media effortsManage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines with marketing leadership and stakeholdersEffectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand intent, develop concepts, and execute deliverables in print and digital mediaThrive in a collaborative, in-person work environment and contribute as a valuable team player.Oversee the completion of projects, including design suggestions and quality controlCreate initial concepts and present various design options for selection and approval.Develop strategic collateral from data and annual operating plansDevelop and implement systems, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and high-quality deliverables, including RFQ / RFP graphics, templates and layoutsFinalize layouts and review proofs for quality control before client release.Connect design concepts with story-telling in award submittals, newsletters, presentations, invitations, social media, jobsite signage and advertisementsEnsure compliance with brand standards across regional deliverables and merchandiseMaintain our library of logos, artwork, and digital assets.Able to directly and indirectly coach and mentor team membersQualifications and Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field required3 years of experience in graphic design or AEC marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing layout and brand complianceIn-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After EffectsProficiency in all Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.Experience with CRM database management systemsExceptional organizational, time management, and project management skillsStrengths and Talents Positive attitude, team player with strong work ethicAbility to work under pressure, excelling at meeting tight deadlinesExceptional attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to prioritize and manage workload; juggle multiple projectsExceptional written and verbal skillsStrong graphics capabilities with a good eye for design and layoutFlexible and able to learn quickly, particularly new technology.Provide different, creative solutions to help sell McCarthy's servicesIf you're a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a passion for producing visually impactful designs and the technical skills to match, we encourage you to apply.
