Bush Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to work out of our location in St. Louis, Missouri. The Preconstruction Manager serves in a hands-on role to support project teams throughout the preconstruction process including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management for all types of delivery methods. You'll collaborate with field and office team members, subcontractors and suppliers, business owners, designers and other internal and external teams to deliver thoughtful, quality project solutions.
What makes you successful in this position?
- You have a degree or background in Construction Management or Construction Engineering. Ideally, you have at least 3 years of experience in estimating or project management.
- You thrive in a role that allows you to produce highly detailed work with accuracy
- Your communication skills are above average, and you love using your multi-tasking and problem solving skills in a fast-paced construction business environment
- You think big picture and enjoy planning for long-term success
- You enjoy traveling for work and don't mind being on the road about 20% of the time
This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle records check. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
