Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Record patient medical history and treatment plans
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient medical records, if needed
- Deliver exceptional patient care with a friendly and professional attitude
- Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent experience
- X-ray certification for the state of North Carolina
- 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred, not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
