Provides accounting and clerical support to the accounting department for effective handling of financial records and operations.
Pay range: $23-$28/hr
Responsibilities
- Maintains records and files, accounts receivable documentation and miscellaneous filings.
- Performs in a variety of accounts receivable duties, mainly billing and payment application.
- Performs basic audit functions to ensure proper posting to accounts.
- Prepares correspondence to assist in answering inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
- Assists in preparing month-end reporting to include printing various reports and creating spreadsheets.
- Prepares daily and weekly reports.
- Maintains job costing portal.
- Works with third party financers for compliance and payment application.
Qualifications
- HS diploma, or GED equivalent, and 3-5 years experience in accounting and accounts receivable.
- JD Edwards accounting software experience preferred.
- Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required.
- Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products.
