We are currently looking to hire a Truck Service Technician for our Harrisonburg, VA location. As a Truck Service Technician , you will work offsite in a mobile truck to service McCarthy Tire customers with tire and wheel related needs. These needs include, but are not limited to replacing, inspecting, and / or repairing tires to ensure they are road ready and DOT compliant. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technicians will assist with any location / warehouse tasks when they are not performing service calls. These tasks include shop / pad work, loading / unloading retread / scrap trailers, and maintaining a clean / organized facility.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform service (mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires) and repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager (both inside and mobile)
- Drive to customer locations or provide roadside service for inspections and tire repair.
- Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.
- Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
