Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist veterinary staff with animal handling, including restraint and basic care during examinations.
- Provide information on animal care, grooming, training, and other related services.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and basic animal care practices is beneficial.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately; experience in animal handling or dog training is a plus.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and animal catheterization is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and scheduling.
