We are looking for an experienced Automation Technician familiar with a teach pendant to join McCLARIN Composites.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automation manufacturing and the development and improvement of the manufacturing process of building composite structures.

What We Need

Are You
- Familiar with composites, polymers, manufacturing, or are you willing to learn?
- A strong collaborator?
- Always looking for ways to improve processes and drive improvements?
A Day in the Life of:
- Drive process and material change.
- Robot programming.
- Develop and document process designs, molds, tooling, and fixtures for structural composite products.
- Create Work Instructions for processes and products.
- Assist with root cause analysis.
- Assist NPD process with FMEA activities in support of manufacturing.
- Drive Continuous Improvement through participation in manufacturing planning.
- Review and modify current production methods to reduce rework and increase production efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree from a ABET accredited engineering program or a minimum of 5 years work or hobby experience with a firm understanding of robotics.
- Experience in CAD software to create models and drawings, SolidWorks preferred.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other Continuous Improvement tools.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret shop prints and drawings, technical procedures/specifications or governmental regulations.
- Maximum lifting of 50lbs. (All lifting over 50lbs. requires a team lift).
- Paid Training for ACMA’s CCT program: Open Molding, Vacuum Infusion Process and Light Resign Transfer Molding.
