Production Associate
Position Summary: The Production Associate is responsible for operating various pieces of machinery (Grinders, drill presses, lathes, mills, benders, CNC Machines), assembling product, and packaging finished goods. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create quality products according to drawings, travelers.
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform changeovers as needed to ensure production efficiency.
- Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location.
- Understand and follow travelers
- Maintain accurate production records
- Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
- Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections in compliance with quality protocols.
- Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
- Document completed maintenance tasks
- Perform daily machine maintenance as required.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety regulations and participate in regular safety training.
- Keep a clean workspace.
- Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Position requires good mathematical ability and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and travelers.
- Position requires the ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures.
