The Receiver – General Laborer is responsible for efficiently managing materials throughout the custom cabinetry production process. This includes receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming materials, as well as assembling kits with all necessary parts and components for specific projects. The role ensures that materials are handled, stored, and distributed effectively to support the shop's production schedule.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Receiving :
- Inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Report damaged or missing items to the Purchasing Department.
- Accurately document all received materials in inventory systems (e.g., Smartsheet).
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
