What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Associate position at McClure Harrison, Inc.?
We are assisting a prominent New York City full-service law firm on their need for an experienced associate with securities and mergers and acquisitions experience to join a tight-knit corporate group.
Associates will get immediate responsibility supporting M&A transactions and fund work and will be the primary associate on the firms' public company clients. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients at every stage of the business cycle: from advising on entity formation and early-stage financing to negotiating mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and dispositions. This is a great opportunity to do meaningful work in a genuinely nice environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
· 3-6 years of general corporate experience, including securities and public company representation
· Strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills
· Graduated from a T-50 law school
· Licensed in NY or eligible to become licensed
