Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting roadside toll systems, performing database migrations, and ensuring system efficiency across multiple platforms. This role requires expertise in SQL, data analysis, and report development using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain KPIs/Metrics for data strategy and management.
- Support roadside toll systems with report generation, alerts, and hardware replacements.
- Perform database migrations, vendor build deployments, and SQL distributor maintenance.
- Provide deep-dive data analysis and Power BI report development.
- Collaborate with monitoring operation centers and other team members for third-party patching oversight.
- Analyze data requirements, application architectures, and database schemas to optimize system performance.
- Gather, normalize, and evaluate business process data for credibility and relevance.
- Support and maintain databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.
- Serve as a project leader when necessary and mentor junior technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT with expertise in database administration, SQL procedural coding, and design.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Oracle Procedural Language (PL-SQL) and Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL).
- Knowledge of data analysis, database optimization, and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Experience with system monitoring, patching, and roadside replication support is a plus.
