The responsibilities of the Instructional Systems Designer are as follows:
- Identify performance gaps or learning needs and develop instructional solutions to address them
- Design engaging, learner-centered instructional strategies for face-to-face, online, and blended learning
- Use empirical data to inform instructional design decisions and improve instruction
- Document instructional design plans and manage related projects
- Design learning assessments and collaborate across functional teams to ensure effective delivery
- Utilize online learning platforms and tools to create and deliver content
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops
The qualified candidate for the Instructional Systems Designer role must possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in instructional design, including identifying learning needs and designing instructional strategies
- Certification in Instructional Design from an accredited institution
- 5 years' experience as a facilitator
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools
- Strong project management skills and experience collaborating across teams
- Prior customer experience and excellent communication skills
