Overview
Porters Neck Country Club, a beautiful and private country club, is looking for a motivated, successful and certified trainer to join the McConnell Golf team. This individual will be responsible for taking on existing clients as well as gaining new business and informing club members of the importance and benefits of personal training. We are looking for someone with a current personal training certification or a degree in Exercise Science along with proof of current liability insurance.
MUST HAVE EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.
This is a contracted position.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training existing clients who want to continue training, increasing their fitness levels, losing weight, or other fitness goals.
- Providing clients with safe and realistic exercises they can perform in the gym with or without the trainer present.
- Talk to members about their fitness goals and help introduce them to the best package or program possible for their fitness goals.
- Inform clients in a timely fashion if you need to change an appointment and respond quickly to clients who must change their schedules.
- Keeping track of your client's sessions and turning in the appropriate information on a bi-weekly basis.
- Helping other trainers and the Wellness Director with implementing new programs, fitness clubs, challenges, etc.
- Attend any meetings, symposiums, and/or required dates put in place by the Wellness Director
- Help cross-promote other club events and programs such group exercise classes, wellness programs and club events, etc.
- Perform orientations and/or Fitness Assessments for new members and first-time gym users.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred
- Personal Training and/or Group Training certification required (such as NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCS, NPTI)
- Must have current and valid CPR and First Aid Certifications
- Must have current liability insurance
Salary Range
USD $30.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.Salary : $30 - $70
