Overview
Porters Neck Country Club is seeking a FT/PT Sports Center Front Desk Attendant to join our team. This position performs Welcome Desk tasks, including opening and closing procedures as well as maintains the Sports Center facility and tennis courts.
Hours : Monday-Sunday 7:30 am - 1:30 PM________________________________________

Responsibilities
1. Greet each member upon arrival, ensuring they are checked in promptly and courteously.2. Responsible for opening procedures, and general upkeep of the desk/lounge area, fitness equipment, and bathrooms.3. Clean and vacuum areas to remove dirt and clay tracked in from tennis courts.4. Perform daily laundry duties.5. Record attendance and ensure proper charges are applied at the end of each Group Exercise Class.6. Generate monthly reports on gym and fitness class attendance.7. Monitor participant activity to ensure safe practices are followed within the facility.8. Conduct hourly walk-throughs of the building (lounge, studio, fitness center, and Junior’s room) to check for cleanliness, refill wipe containers, and ensure safety during member participation.9. Complete end-of-shift procedures.10. Clean fitness equipment as needed.11. Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring attentiveness to members and guests.12. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Sports Center Director/Fitness Director or the Activities & Aquatics Director.

Education and/or Experience
• High School diploma or GED..
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Point of Sale systems; capable of creating Excel spread sheets.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
• Able to handle multiple tasks and pressure.
• Must follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Must be able to keep composure during periods of high incoming phone calls and/or in-person requests.
• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
Salary Range
USD $12.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.Salary : $12 - $15
