Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) :

- Supports insurance renewal submission and any new insurance program placement strategy, negotiation, and execution. Identifies weaknesses or deficiencies in insurance coverages.
- Assists in the review and analysis of annual renewal results compared to market expectations and to the budget; perform timely variance analysis reporting, and other ad hoc analysis; document premiums and analyze variances from the previous year.
- Works in partnership with the legal department to review insurance language in agreements and make suggestions to minimize risk.
- Creates dashboards using RMIS system and report results to management with supporting analysis.
- Provides reporting on key operational and strategic dashboard metrics across all areas of risk using RMIS system.
- Leads the Incident Reporting process. Utilize RMIS system to facilitate workflows and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Completes all Certificate of Insurance requests.
- Administers Flood Insurance program.
- Responsible for support activities and communication related to the RMIS. The role will be the subject matter expert and key point of contact for all systems users, both internal and external.
- Map legacy data into RMIS platform.
- Maintains all physical records i.e., Insurance Policies and Related Records.
- Receives all insurance invoices and performs any necessary allocations and submits to appropriate accounting teams.
- Serves as main point of contact for any audits and provides documentation in a timely manner.
- Collect and provide motor vehicle reporting twice yearly to provide to broker.
- Collaborates cross functionally across departments to implement risk management & insurance best practices and initiatives.
