About the Position:
Our client, a global private markets investment manager, seeks an attorney (8-11 years of fund formation experience) for a Principal, Legal Counsel position in Chicago. Responsibilities:
· Assist with the coordination, structuring, formation and negotiation of private equity/credit investment funds and separate accounts
· Assist with management of corporate documentation, regulatory filings, and contracting
· Identify and address legal and regulatory issues
Required Qualifications:
· 8-11 years of sophisticated fund formation experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
· Private credit experience is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $300,000 - $325,000.
