Investment Management / 40 Act Associate – Am Law 100 Firm

About the Position :

We are working with an international Am Law 100 firm based in the Midwest that is seeking an investment management lawyer to join its Chicago office as a mid to senior-level associate. This sophisticated practice has consistently been ranked as one of the top investment management practices in the country.

Responsibilities :

  • Advise clients on investment management matters and issues arising under the federal securities laws
  • Counsel registered investment companies through the registration and formation process
  • Prepare and review registration statements and offering documents, board meeting materials, investment management agreements, and related materials

    • Required Qualifications :

  • 3 to 8 years of experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations
  • Excellent academic credentials
