As Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll step into a role beyond traditional legal practice. With your litigation or transactional expertise (7 years, partner-level preferred), you’ll shape client relationships, drive business growth, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
The role offers a refreshing departure from traditional law firm life. Based in Chicago with a flexible hybrid schedule, you’ll enjoy a collegial environment that values work-life balance. Monthly travel is minimal – just a few days to maintain key client relationships. Base compensation is $275,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will be varied and engaging. From developing pitch strategies for prospective clients to advising on coverage and underwriting matters, you’ll leverage your legal acumen in new and rewarding ways. You’ll also collaborate with the General Counsel on compliance initiatives and prepare critical briefings for leadership.
